Kwansei Gakuin Hall

Exterior appearance designed in the Spanish mission style

The Kwansei Gakuin Uegahara campus is located on the Uegahara Highland in northern Nishinomiya City, where there is a view of the Ikoma mountain range. The "Kwansei Gakuin Hall," which was constructed in commemoration of the 110th anniversary of the establishment of Kwansei Gakuin, consists of a reception hall, research rooms, conference rooms and a cathedral. The hall is mainly used by graduates of the college, for conferences, meetings, weddings and other ceremonial occasions.

The outside appearance continues the common image of the school buildings, using Spanish bricks and stuccoed walls, which not only gives the college something strong to be remembered by, but also gives the students a feeling of solidarity and a sense of belonging to the same college.

The main lobby connected by a slope, bridge and large staircase

The feeling of the graduates visiting the hall is raised gradually as they walk through the entrance gate, the front yard, corridor and main lobby. The main lobby, with natural light pouring in, connects by a slope, bridge and large staircase that also act as a change to the line of sight, encouraging people to meet and chat. The integrated visual feeling of "place" produced here deepens the feeling of togetherness and bonds between the visitors.
