CapitaGreen

SINGAPORE 2014

CapitaGreen is an environment-friendly super high-rise office building located in Singapore’s central business district. Architect Toyo Ito envisioned its esign as a conceptual recreation of Singapore’s forests. The exterior features semi-double-skin curtain walls with greenery and a rooftop garden. Huge wind scoops located on the rooftop catch prevailing winds and supply fresh air to every floor. The perimeter structure was built with high-strength concrete, enabling its slim external shape. The building integrates various high-end industrial materials, and also features a traditional Japanese plaster wall.
