壁柱を雁行させることで、スタッフがひと目で全員の患者が確認でき、患者一人ひとりが眺望を得られる雁行ICU型4床室を設けた。壁柱にはオムツ交換時の臭気排出システムも組み込み、快適な療養環境を実現した。大きさと設えの異なる3つの中庭により建物内部に自然を採りこむとともに、中庭周りや廊下端部に分散配置したデイコーナーにより、家族や見舞客に多様な居場所を創出した。(桑原 悠樹)自然を採りこむ雁行壁柱と3つの中庭The staggered pattern used for the wall-shaped columns makes it possible for staff to check on all patients at a glance. Staggered ICU type four-bed rooms have been provided to offer each patient a good view. The wall-shaped columns are equipped with a foul odor discharge system to eliminate the odor from diaper changing, resulting in a pleasant convalescent environment. Three inner courtyards that are different in size and placement bring nature into the building interior, and “day corners” have been dispersed around the inner courtyards and at the ends of the corridors to create many places for family and visitors to spend time comfortably.
