2階老健施設は、食堂や浴室といった共用部と自分の部屋を行き来する道すがらの空間を、日常的な挨拶や会話が生まれる場とするため、廊下の一部にニッチ状のアルコーブを設けた。そこにハイサイドライトによる安定した採光を取り込み、自然光の移ろいが感じられる外部化された内部空間を目指した。(髙山 淳二)Common areas with natural lighting that changes over time自然光移ろう共用空間をつくるIn the senior citizen rehabilitation facility located on the second floor, the corridors traversed by senior citizens between their rooms and the cafeteria, bath and other common areas are provided with niche-like alcoves in certain locations to create an environment that will encourage regular greetings and conversations. Stable natural lighting is introduced from the high sidelights, creating an interior space that is externalized by allowing those inside to feel the changes in natural lighting over time.
