Topic発注者：富岡市所在地：群馬県富岡市主要用途：見学施設(工事用仮設建築物)設計施工：竹中工務店　・設計：酒向昇・松原祐美子　　　　平田淳・構造：岩間和博・望月英二・設備：田中宏治・作業所長：石塚正一Client: Tomioka-shiLocation: Tomioka-shi, GunmaMain Use: Temporary Construction for VisitorDesign and construction work: Takenaka Corporation·Architects: Noboru Sakou, Yumiko Matsubara, and Jun Hirata·Structural: Kazuhiro Iwama,Eiji Mochizuki·M&E: Kouji Tanaka·Site manager: Masakazu IshizukaSite area: 55,391.42m2Building area: 198.00m2Total floor area: 594.00m2Construction: SteelNumber of stories: 3 floors above groundConstruction term: Octorber 2015 to December 2015敷地面積：55,391.42㎡建築面積：198.00㎡延床面積：594.00㎡構造：S造階数：地上3階工期：2015.10～2015.122014年世界遺産に登録された富岡製糸場「西置繭所(にしおきまゆじょ)」にて2015年より始まった保存修理工事の過程を公開する仮設見学施設である。見学範囲が制限される工事期間中に、日々移り変わる現場を公開し、展示を随時更新しながら来場者と共有していく試みを行った。見学施設は展示・見学エリアと素屋根下の半屋外空間である作業場を連続させ、外壁下地材をグレーの錆止め塗装で現し仕上げとし、壁には木質構造用ボードを用いた簡素で開放的な空間としている。あわせて見学者には工事用ヘルメットをかぶってもらう運用を行い、保存修理工事の臨場感を感じてもらうことを意図した。また、床に描くサインと軽やかなテキスタイルの展示タイトルを組み合わせ、誰にでも分かりやすく、歴史的建築物の魅力を引き出す施設を目指している。順路を示すラインを床に描き、この場所の歴史のかけらをちりばめつつ、入口から出口まで一本の糸に沿って西置繭所の物語をたどっていく、まゆからシルクを紡ぐ様子に見立てたサインを設けた。また、軽量システムトラスのトラベリング工法の採用し、地表面に基礎替わりのスラブを打設し建物を載せることで世界遺産建物や素屋根下に位置する史跡への影響を最小限にとどめている。(松原 祐美子)This temporary viewing facility was created to show the progress of the preservation and repair work that began in 2015 for the Tomioka Silk Mill West Cocoon Warehouse, which was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2014. This was an attempt to publicly display the daily changes in the workplace during the work period in which the scope of viewing is restricted, and to update the exhibits as needed and share them with visitors. The viewing facility connects the exhibition and viewing areas with the semi-outdoor workspace beneath the bare roof. The base material for the outer wall was finished with a gray rustproof coating, while boards used for wood-like construction were used for the walls, in order to create a simple and open environment. Visitors were asked to wear work helmets with the aim of giving them a real sense of what it is like to do preservation and repair work. In addition, a combination of signs drawn on the floor and titles for the light textile exhibits were used to create a facility that brings out the true appeal of a historic building in a way that everyone will find it easy to understand. Lines to indicate the recommended route for viewing are drawn on the floor, and bits of history are placed here and there in the facility, so visitors can follow a single thread from entrance to exit to track the story of the West Cocoon Warehouse, with signs that depict the process of spinning silk from cocoons. The traveling construction method was used to construct the lightweight system truss, and a slab was placed on the surface of the ground in place of a foundation and the building was placed on top of this slab, in order to minimize the impact on the World Heritage building and the historical remains located beneath the bare roof.
