Ultra-high rise structures tend to adversely affect the scale of a residential area, so the residential building form was fitted with a thin, flat precast concrete frame to achieve a well-ordered and comfortable residential space. The design that uses a succession of square timbers is particularly appropriate for a building in Horie, which flourished as a lumber port.
