Works24This building represents a proposal for a new type of residence that promotes active interchange among residents. The open square (I Park, I Marche) that is a gathering place for residents in the surrounding area is also designed to be used as an evacuation center in the event of a disaster. The semi-outdoor open spaces (community gardens) designed to encourage interchange among residents in the building are provided for every group of four floors, creating a rich residential environment. Tower apartment buildings tend of feel closed-off, and so common areas are located near each residence to encourage community-building.
