In March 2018, Phase II of the No. 1 Building where the main hospital functions are conducted was completed, and in May 2020 the project is scheduled for overall completion. In order to develop an environment in which not only the medical staff but also the researchers, students, and various others on the campus can work together and exhibit higher performance, the south side hospital zone and the north side student zone is connected by a medical street. Then the hospital mall which is the main flow line for patients and the staff mall that transcends the various departments are arranged at right angles to this medical street. Staff cores are provided everywhere in the staff mall, providing places where staff can naturally interact with each other, work with researchers, and carry out student education.
