This forest is a buffer zone to the World Heritage site, so in order to preserve the trees as much as possible and not interfere with existing trees, it was divided into 8 buildings. The number of trees on the approach road to the shrine was increased to produce a landscape overflowing with greenery. In addition, to pass on the atmosphere of Shake-machi (the town of Shinto shrine priests), Japanese style fences, flower basins, hedges, etc., were provided, thereby reproducing time and space where history and nature carry on.
