The buildings have been arranged utilizing the gentle sloping topography so that there are views of Mount Fuji from all areas. By providing the 32 guest rooms with large openings and plants, a comfortable and open feeling of being in nature is produced. The aim was to realize a forest resort at Lake Kawaguchi where there was no sense of boundary between the interior and exterior.
