Works093495612348957610Nihonbashi is defined by its river. So water imagery was used extensively in the design of the OVOL building. Inside the hotel, water imagery is everywhere - furniture, fixtures and equipment, and artwork all somehow suggest rippling water. In the office area, the mood is calm and reassuring like a pool of still water, and there is a lot of open space that encourages movement and communication. An effort was made to express the unique history and tradition of Nihonbashi and its spirit for the many foreign visitors who visit here.
