This new R&D base combines those formerly separate buildings into one. In order to realize the development of new products and technologies beyond conventional product categories, we created an ideal environment, working together with Yamaha employees—taking into consideration activities such as information sharing, ideas, research, trial production, trial listening, trial performance. The core offices were deliberately dispersed in the north and south sections of the building which are connected by two-way accessible cross stairs in the center to promote communication.
