The site is located at the junction between the large-scale streetscape of Bunkyo Ward and the human-scale streetscape of residential Kagurazaka, etc. In order to harmonize the different uses and scales, the building was unified with a rectangular design code, that harmonizes with the streetscape. A guest lounge is located on the uppermost story of the hotel with views of Koishikawa-Korakuen and Tokyo Dome, thereby providing added value. (Sumiko Odaira, Yoshinori Nariyama)
