Works16SECTION　S=1:1700The concept that the hospital is continuous with the city was reflected in the interior design, lighting, etc. Based on the concept of “waiting in the city”, when entering from the city the scenes unfold with privacy gradually increasing, realized by the change in materials and shades of color tone. The natural light entering from the openings is made continuous with the 3D light curtain lighting of the atrium forming the vertical flow lines, and by following it the users encounter various spaces, and can pass the waiting time as they wish. The aim was a hospital building that enables a spatial experience as if wandering around the city.
