The building is surrounded on four sides by mountains, the Tenryu River flows below, and the third floor level looks out on the JR Iida Line. A new landscape and place for attractive activities has been created, such as a characteristic external appearance produced by stacking different volumes, a rooftop terrace that can be used comfortably by anyone, a garden with a feeling of safety, etc. The aim was to proclaim to the locality the ideals of the hospital “Service that combines preservation of health, treatment of disease, and welfare”.
