Works22SECTION DETAIL　S=1:200The key to interaction among the residents is the common-use space on the uppermost story that is positively made of wood elements. This pleasant and comfortable space that abundantly uses timber columns and beams, natural wood finishes, hand-finished plaster, etc., can be used by the residents for interaction and creative workshops. The furniture arranged in the common part is designed incorporating the characteristic shapes of timber structural engineering, so the users can directly touch and discover the qualities of timber through their five senses. (Jun Shimada)A Place to Perceive Timber Construction with Five Senses木造に五感が触れる場所入居者の交流の鍵となる最上階共用部を積極的に木造木質の空間とした。木構造の柱梁、天然木仕上・左官仕上などをふんだんに用いた心地の良い空間は、住民同士の交流やクリエイティヴなワークショップに利用される。共用部に配した木の家具は、木造技術の特徴的な形状を取り入れたデザインとし、利用者が直接手を触れ、木の質感や香りを五感で発見するきっかけとなる。(島田 潤)最上階の共用部は、木造木質の耐火構造部材を適所に用い、心地よい住空間をつくっている2123
