Works26国際競争力の高い「ALL IN ONE」のMICE施設として、既存のパシフィコ横浜と連続し、民間ホテルと一体で計画されたPFI事業である。国内最大規模となる約6,300㎡の無柱・カーペット仕様の多目的ホールと大中小42の会議室からなる。人・もの・コトが出会う場として「汀」をテーマとし、 寄せる波や輝く水面を外装、インテリア、サイン、外構計画まで一貫して表現した。本施設の一部として緑豊かに整備された「キング軸」が、複数の既存都市軸と連携することで、回遊性の高い歩行者ネットワークが完成し、ミナトヨコハマの更なる活性化を促進することを目指した。(松浦 勇一)横浜みなとみらい国際コンベンションセンター（通称：パシフィコ横浜ノース）Yokohama Minato Mirai International Convention Center (PACIFICO Yokohama North)Architecture as “waterfront” where people, goods and events meet人・もの・コトが出会う「汀」の建築Owner: YOKOHAMA GLOBAL MICE, INC. It consists of a columnless carpet specification multi-purpose hall of about 6,300 m2, the largest in Japan, and 42 large and small conference rooms. The theme is “waterfront” as a place for encountering people, goods, and events, which is consistently expressed in the incoming waves, sparkling water surface, façade, interior, signs, and landscape design The project was designed to further facilitate Minato Yokohama and improve the existing urban network by introducing “King Axis” with rich greenery.
