4.51.000建築主：(株)コベルコパワー真岡所在地：栃木県真岡市主要用途：事務所設計施工：竹中工務店・設計：梅原豊・織田直憲・福田久展・構造：菅谷公彦・烏章典・西牧誠・設備：阪口洋・伊藤素行・横関直樹・作業所長：戸村一郎栃木県南部に位置する、日本初の内陸型最新鋭ガス火力発電所の見学者施設。地域の小・中学生による社会科見学を主対象とし、非日常的な空間体験を通して、子供たちにエネルギーの未来や地球環境とのつながりについて新たな気づきと発見を促す空間を創出した。周辺の豊かな緑や丘になじむよう建物の外壁を有機的に変化させ、建物と一体となった豊かな外部空間をつくり出すことで、周辺の豊かな自然と発電所という2つの異なる環境を緩やかにつなげた。(福田 久展)This is a visitor facility for Japan’s first inland state of the art gas-fired power station, located in Southern District, Tochigi Prefecture. It is mainly for social studies field trips for local elementary and junior high school pupils, providing a space that encourages the children to make new observations and discoveries regarding the link between future energy and the global environment, through an out of the ordinary spatial experience. By organically varying the external walls of the building so as to fit in with the surrounding lush greenery and hills, a rich exterior that is integral with the building, gently space is produced linking surrounding green nature and the power station.
