iDahtainyligct GDireNaturalTo develop a new kind of double timber with a span of 3.64 m x 4.55 m,we used regular, generally distributed 120 mm square small section Hokkaido larch laminated lumber which can be processed at a local factory. It is an attempt to popularize non-residential construction using conventional double timber for frameworks. Using 100% Hokkaido timber not only allowed us to create a space redolent with the natural warmth of wood but to contribute to “local production for local consumption” and the forest management system known as the Hokkaido Forest Grand Cycle.
