This multi-tenant logistics facility just 40km from the center of Tokyo serves the entire metropolitan area. We minimized construction time and cost in building this warehouse while maximizing quality. To reduce the apparent size of the facility and make it blend into the environment, smooth surfaces and gradient coloration were used. By using the same sash shapes, integrated into the cross sectional design of the framework of the outer wall, fitting exactly, we were able to unify the design aesthetically while improving the efficiency of construction. In addition, heights and floor configuration of warehouse design make it possible to set up a spacious break room with a high ceiling and a terrace. The aim was a state-of-the-art facility that was environmentally attractive and user friendly.
