123551343136NThis was a renovation project for a department store specialty shop in Shinsaibashi, a commercial area representative of Osaka. The façade was renewed in accordance with the change in business form. On the high-rise part a dynamic façade is formed with new material louvers with the motif of “drapes”, which changes gently depending on the movement, viewing position, and time of viewing of the pedestrians passing by. The façade harmonizes with the streetscape of Midosuji, the main street, while adding vitality to the landscape.
