33322N445126立体テラスとキャストガラスによる木漏れ日の空間Space Like the Sun Passing through Leaves of a Tree Formed from a Multi-level Terrace and Cast GlassThis was a project to re-build the Kanazawa Practical Ethics Hall for the Practical Ethics Association, which was established 75 years ago. The adjacent buildings are close, so a composition in which a terrace with greenery is inserted into the interior spaces in a multi-level manner was adopted, creating spaces where nature can be felt. On the outer periphery of the building a screen is provided using horizontal louvers and light-guiding cast glass using crystal glass to control the line of sight from the outside. Natural light is brought into the interior spaces like the sunlight passing through the leaves of a tree due to the light refraction effect and the passing of time. The aim was to produce a place like a park where users can find a place to be and pass the time in throughout the day in accordance with their purpose.
