08新築の研究所はフレキシビリティの高い実験室・ケヤキ並木に面する開放的なオフィスを配置し、改修を行ったウエルネス棟は、既存躯体を活かし、滞在・休息できる厚生施設とした。この２つの施設が、プラザの自然を介しシームレスにつなげられ、集中と休息を促すスペースがグラデーショナルに展開する構成とすることで、研究員の発想を活性化し続けるワークプレイスとした。(大坂 高敬)Works221199443388667755グラデーショナルにつながるワークプレイスWorkplaces Linked Step-by-StepThe new research laboratory consists of highly flexible experimental rooms, and open offices facing the Zelkova trees. A wellness building was modified by retaining the existing structural frame and converted into a welfare building where people can visit and take a rest. These two facilities are seamlessly linked via the nature of the plaza, creating workplaces where the researchers’ ideas are continuously stimulated by a composition in which spaces that encourage concentration and relaxation are deployed step-by-step.
