3N限りなく街に開いた客室を実現するための構造計画Structural Scheme realizing Guest Rooms with Unrestricted Openness to the City南西コーナーの客室（約50㎡)。鉄骨柱2本がフラットスラブを支える構造とすることで、梁のない大開口を実現した24光が溢れる明るい水廻り251. 客室 Guest Room2. テラス Terrace3. 廊下 Corridor南、西の通り面する客室は、三辺支持のボイドスラブ構造とすることで外周部の梁をすべて無くし、全面が開口部の開放感ある客室としている。この軽やかな客室の躯体は、構造の要となる厚さ60 センチの筒型耐震壁を建物中央に配置し、建物全体の剛性を高めたことにより、実現している。一方で、筒型耐震壁の足元は２層吹き抜けのロビーとし、分厚い壁で囲われた力強い空間としている。開放的な客室とは対照的であり、まるで空間が反転したかのような構成とした。 (市川 徹)The guest rooms facing the road on the south and west sides have a voided slab structure supported on three sides, so outer perimeter beams have been eliminated, to provide guest rooms with an open feeling that are open on all sides. This light guest room structure is achieved by arranging 60 cm thick cylindrical seismic walls in the center of the building as required for the structure, which increases the overall stiffness of the building. On the other hand, a two-story atrium lobby is provided at the foot of the cylindrical seismic walls, creating a strong space surrounded by the thick walls.
