コモンズ-C館 外観・内観（実施設計：竹中工務店＋昭和設計 施工：竹中工務店・南海辰村建設・竹中土木共同企業体） 写真：古川泰造提供：（公社）大阪パビリオン提供：（公社）大阪パビリオン大阪ヘルスケアパビリオン（設計：東畑建築事務所 施工：竹中工務店）2025年日本国際博覧会（略称「大阪・関西万博」）が、4月13日から10月13日までの184日間、大阪市の人工島「夢洲」で開催される。登録博覧会としては2005年愛・地球博以来20年ぶりの日本開催である。当社はPW（パビリオンワールド）西工区において、来場者の歩行空間であり滞留空間となる大屋根リングと、イベント実施設計・施工、生分解性樹脂を3Dプリントした休憩所の設計施工のほか、PW西工区外でも国内パビリオン2棟の施工に携わった。今回の大阪・関西万博が、次世代を担う子どもたちにとって絶好の学びの場になることを期待している。(竹中工務店 万博推進室)Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai is being held for 184 days from April 13 through October 13, 2025 on an artificial island (Yumeshima) in Osaka City. This is the first world expo to be held in Japan in 20 years following Expo 2005 Aichi. Takenaka handled implementation design and construction for multiple facilities in the western construction area of Pavilion World (PW), including the Grand Ring which serves as a pedestrian route and sheltered space for visitors, and 33 other facilities that include special event halls. We also constructed two domestic pavilions located outside the PW western construction area. In addition, we designed and constructed the rest areas which were 3D-printed from biodegradable plastics.
