With SHI-RA-BE® Forest, we are actively promoting collaboration with researchers and engineers both inside and outside the company, as well as with local community members, in order to encourage open innovation and research and development in multipurpose and innovative green infrastructure and biodiversity conservation that makes use of the natural environment. The technologies demonstrated and developed in this field could be applied to a variety of outdoor spaces that harmonize with local ecosystems, having the objective of coexistence between people and nature.
In this field, we are conducting demonstration experiments and research and development projects such as: Rainscape, a rainwater collection and filtration technology; technology for supporting green space design while considering urban birds; field restoration technology; ex situ conservation of aquatic plants; tree position optimization technology; urban beekeeping; and a demonstration of multifunctional urban agriculture.
