Takenaka Corporation (President: President: Masahiro Miyashita) received an operating license from the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on September 6, 2013, and has opened the Myanmar Branch Office of Thai Takenaka International Ltd. as an office to conduct sales activities and gather information in Myanmar.
Before opening the Myanmar Branch of Thai Takenaka International Ltd. to strengthen our sales activities in Asia, where investment activities have intensified in recent years, on March 1, 2013, we established part of the sales and production support functions of our international branches in Singapore as the Asian Headquarters. In April the same year, we permanently posted a senior executive managing officer in charge of overseas business to Singapore.
We have positioned the Myanmar Branch as a branch office of Thai Takenaka International Ltd. By opening this office, which will conduct sales activities in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, we return to this country after 23 years that have passed since we completed the construction of the Seed Bank in 1990.

Takenaka will continue to improve its sales and production systems in Asia to provide the best possible solutions to support the global business activities of Japanese companies and its other corporate customers.
