We will work to adapt to climate change through all work processes, including design methods and construction techniques, and we will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by promoting energy savings and the use of renewable energy throughout our entire value chain. In this manner, we will achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
We will realize Circular Design-Build® by 2050 by promoting business activities such as resource recycling and sustainable procurement, transitioning to using renewable resources, and design and construction that does not produce waste.
* Circular Design-Build® is an activity based on the use, dismantling, and reuse of reused and recycled building materials in the business activities of the Takenaka Group, which include the design and construction of buildings and peripheral fields.
We will promote the conservation and restoration of biodiversity by understanding the impact of land use change and invasive species beforehand, taking measures according to the characteristics of each locality, and ensuring traceability of products and raw materials in the value chain. In this manner, we will realize a world in harmony with nature by 2050.
We will thoroughly manage water risks and strive to protect water resources by promoting their efficient use along with water quality conservation.
We will reduce our load on the environment and strive to conserve the natural environment by thoroughly preventing and reducing soil, air, and other pollution.
